"Maloney Boulevard"

Council approved repair work on the Lac Beauchamp outlet at 741 Maloney Boulevard East. The project involves replacing a culvert and pipe, as well as cleaning and reprofiling a watercourse. This work requires the removal of 12 trees in a protected woodland, which will be replaced, and is subject to provincial environmental authorization.

Council repealed two previous resolutions authorizing the private sale of land on Maloney Boulevard East. Legal advice concluded that the City's title to these lots is unclear and that the land actually belongs to the provincial Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility, making the planned sales legally impossible.
