Construction of Affordable Housing - Commitment to Free Land Transfer - 240 Magnus Street East - Bellevue Electoral District - Alicia Lacasse-Brunet
The City of Gatineau has committed to transferring the land at 240 Magnus Street East to the non-profit organization Mon Chez Nous inc. at no cost. This land, currently a disused parking lot for the former Baribeau arena, is intended for the construction of 48 affordable housing units. The transfer is conditional upon the project being accepted into a social and affordable housing grant program.
