Council approved a trial agreement with the RCM of La Vallée-de-la-Gatineau to transport and compost 2,000 tonnes of organic waste from Gatineau's Hull transshipment center to the Kazabazua composting facility. This trial, ending January 30, 2026, is expected to save the City over $70,000 in transport and treatment costs.
