The City is moving forward with two major sports infrastructure projects: a seasonal dome at the *Université du Québec en Outaouais* (UQO) and a synthetic field at *Parc Ernest-Gaboury*. The council approved the financial packages for these projects, which include new loan bylaws and the transfer of existing provincial grants, to improve recreational facilities in the western part of the city.

The City is finalizing the legal framework for the UQO dome project in the western part of the city. This includes an emphyteutic lease for a portion of UQO land and the creation of a right-of-way for access. The City will construct a service building and install a seasonal dome, with shared usage protocols between the City and UQO.

The committee discussed funding updates for the UQO dome project and the synthetic turf field at Parc Ernest-Gaboury. Recommendations include authorizing additional budget, preparing loan bylaws, and transferring provincial grant funds from the Mont-Bleu project to the UQO site to ensure project completion.

The City is supporting several local educational institutions (Centre de services scolaire des Draveurs, Collège Saint-Alexandre, Cégep de l'Outaouais) in their applications for provincial funding to improve sports facilities, including gymnasiums, basketball courts, and a multisport synthetic field.
