The city is applying for a grant from the *Ministère de la Culture et des Communications* (MCC) to help fund the expansion and development of public library collections.

The City of Gatineau is entering a new three-year heritage agreement with the Quebec government. The city will contribute $2.28 million, matched by $900,618 from the province, to support the preservation of municipal and private heritage properties.

Council approved participation in the new 2026-2028 Heritage Agreement Program (PEP) with the Ministry of Culture and Communications. The City committed $2,281,618 to the program, which aims to preserve and enhance heritage properties, and will seek $900,618 in provincial funding.

The city is applying for provincial funding to expand and develop the collections of its autonomous public libraries.

Council authorizes a grant application of $1,136,800 to the provincial government to support the development of collections for Gatineau's autonomous public libraries.

The department provided information on current financial support programs and upcoming project calls from the Ministry of Culture and Communications.

The Commission received an update on the expansion of the Guy-Sanche library, noting that provincial funding has been confirmed and that future library projects will be identified in an updated deployment plan.
