"Paul-Pelletier Aquatic Centre"

This item authorizes a cost adjustment for professional mechanical and electrical services related to the Phase II upgrades at the Paul-Pelletier Aquatic Centre. There is no impact on the municipal budget.

The committee approved an additional $32,618.41 for professional engineering services related to the mechanical and electrical upgrades at the Paul-Pelletier Aquatic Centre. This covers additional required services and does not impact the overall budget.

Council approves renovations for the Paul-Pelletier Aquatic Centre at 325, Chemin d'Aylmer. Work includes replacing exterior wall cladding (due to degradation of existing pine), adding visual screens for mechanical units, installing a new transformer, and adding electric vehicle charging stations.

The City is authorizing the use of funds from the life-cycle reserve to pay for necessary maintenance or repairs at the Paul-Pelletier Aquatic Centre in the Deschênes district.

Council authorized the use of up to $1.9 million from the life cycle reserve to replace aging equipment and fully decarbonize the Paul-Pelletier Aquatic Centre. This work complements a $500,000 provincial grant for greenhouse gas reduction.

The committee approved an additional $35,642.25 for professional mechanical and electrical engineering services for the Paul-Pelletier Aquatic Centre upgrade project. This adjustment, along with a previously approved delegation of power, brings the total contract value to $166,713.75. There is no additional budgetary impact for this increase.
