8.1 Adoption of Financial Assistance – Support Programs under the Arts, Culture, and Letters Service
Members are informed that the City Council has granted financial assistance for support programs under the Arts, Culture, and Letters Service, which is broken down as follows:
- Support Program for Cultural Organizations: Financial assistance of $1,756,731 and $981,481 in services. 75 applications were deemed eligible out of 76 received.
- Support Fund for Cultural Animation: Financial assistance of $287,033. 9 applications were deemed eligible out of 14 received. The other 5 applications, being ineligible, were redirected to another City support program.
- Support Program for Major Events and Support Program for Events from $10,000 to less than $50,000: Financial assistance of $1,526,280, service assistance costing $554,250, and service value assistance of $218,700. This support covers 30 events.

6. Tabling of the 2022-2023 Report and 2024-2025 Work Plan of the Commission
The final 2022-2023 report was sent to members by email, and it is noted that it will be tabled at the March City Council meeting. Members have no questions regarding the proposed 2024-2025 work plan.
The Arts, Culture, Letters, and Heritage Commission recommends that the City Council:
CACLP-2024-01 • adopt the 2024-2025 work plan of the Arts, Culture, Letters, and Heritage Commission.
