FILING OF THE FINANCIAL REPORT OF THE CITY OF GATINEAU FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING DECEMBER 31, 2024 - 2024 FINANCIAL STATEMENTS
CONSIDERING THAT, in accordance with the terms of section 108 of the Loi sur les cités et villes (Cities and Towns Act), the municipal council has retained the services of the chartered professional accounting firm Deloitte to audit the financial statements for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2024;
CONSIDERING THAT, pursuant to section 105.1 of the same Act, the treasurer must, during a council meeting, file the financial report and the independent auditor's report;
CONSIDERING THAT a notice was published to the effect that the financial report and the independent auditor's report would be filed at the municipal council meeting of June 10, 2025:
PROPOSED AND UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED THAT this committee and the Audit Committee recommend that the council receive the filing of the financial report of the City of Gatineau, including the independent auditor's report for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2024.
This recommendation of the executive committee comes into effect on the day of its approval by resolution of the municipal council. Adopted

CONSIDERING THAT the Human Resources Department has been authorized to fill a position of Director, Office of Civil Security (position number INC-CAD-054) at the Fire Safety Service of the City of Gatineau according to the standards and practices in force:
PROPOSED AND UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED THAT this committee recommend that the council accept the appointment and permanent status of Mr. Denis Doucet to the position of Director, Office of Civil Security (position number INC-CAD-054) at the Fire Safety Service of the City of Gatineau.
Mr. Denis Doucet is subject to the working conditions provided for under the terms of his contract.
Mr. Denis Doucet is considered to have completed the 12-month probationary period and holds the status of permanent employee, all in accordance with the terms of his contract. 0021657

CONSIDERING THAT the Human Resources Department has been authorized to fill a position of Director, Human Resources Department (position number SRH-CAD-001) at the Human Resources Department according to the standards and practices in force:
PROPOSED AND UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED THAT this committee recommend that the council accept the probationary promotion and permanent status of Ms. Marie-France Laviolette to the position of Director, Human Resources Department (position number SRH-CAD-001) at the Human Resources Department.
Ms. Marie-France Laviolette's salary is established at class 10, step 7 of the salary scale for management employees of the City of Gatineau.
Ms. Marie-France Laviolette is subject to a 12-month probationary period. Her effective date of appointment will be June 11, 2025.
