The members have no questions or comments regarding the 2023 report of the Commission which was sent to them by email.
It is mentioned that minor modifications were made to the work plan regarding the wording of certain actions. An addition was also made regarding the renewal of municipal policies of the Service des loisirs, des sports et du développement des communautés. The new version will be sent to members by email.
The work plan, revised following the discussions and comments of the members which took place during the working session of January 17, is presented. Members ask clarifying questions. Some suggest reviewing the wording related to the management of hateful signs and symbols on the territory of the Ville de Gatineau in order to make this action more positive from the perspective of an inclusive city. Members will receive by email the final version which will include a proposed wording for this file.
Considering that the modifications to be made do not change the content of the work plan:
The Commission du vivre-ensemble recommends to the City Council CVE-2024-01
• To adopt the 2024-2025 work plan of the Commission du vivre-ensemble.
