Questions, answers, and comments were formulated, concerning among other things:
- It is estimated that the proposed work is exemplary.

CONSIDERING THAT a request for renovation work has been submitted for the property located at 12, rue Broad;
CONSIDERING THAT the project consists of replacing the asphalt roof shingles with metal shingles, replacing two side doors with new doors, replacing the balcony railings with a railing similar to the original, and adding railings to the front and right side gallery;
CONSIDERING THAT the building is listed in the document Inventaire et caractérisation du patrimoine bâti de la région de l’Outaouais (2011) with a good state of authenticity, and in the document Gatineau - Inventaire et classement du patrimoine bâti (2008) as a building with potential heritage interest (Appendix 6);
CONSIDERING THAT the Maison John Murphy is a building of heritage interest located in the Vieux-Aylmer heritage insertion sector and the Aylmer heritage site;
CONSIDERING THAT the projected work is subject to the Règlement sur le site du patrimoine d’Aylmer number 2100-97 and the Règlement relatif aux plans d’implantation et d’intégration architecturale number 505-2005 concerning a heritage building, and that this work respects the applicable objectives and evaluation criteria;
CONSIDERING THAT the project complies with the applicable regulatory provisions of the Règlement de zonage number 532-2020;
CONSEQUENTLY, this Committee recommends that the Council approve, pursuant to the Règlement relatif aux plans d'implantation et d'intégration architecturale number 505-2005 and according to the Règlement sur le site du patrimoine d’Aylmer number 2100-97, a project at 12, rue Broad, to replace the asphalt shingle roof with new metal shingles, add ventilation grilles on the gables, replace two doors with new doors, replace the balcony railing with a new railing similar to the original, and add railings around the front and left side gallery, as illustrated in the project analysis in the documents:

CONSIDERING THAT a request for the regularization of an attached sign has been submitted for the property located at 43, rue Laval;
CONSIDERING THAT this request aims to authorize this attached sign identifying the service business located on the second floor of the building;
CONSIDERING THAT the sign retains the same location as the previous sign that identified the former business;
CONSIDERING THAT the subject sign satisfies the applicable evaluation criterion of the Règlement patrimoine Kent-Aubry-Wright number 2195, which stipulates that signage must be standardized;
CONSIDERING THAT the sign complies with the provisions of the Règlement de zonage number 532-2020, particularly regarding its installation method, typology, and surface area;
CONSEQUENTLY, this Committee recommends that the Council approve, pursuant to the Règlement constituant le site du patrimoine Kent-Aubry-Wright number 2195, a project at 43, rue Laval, to regularize an existing attached sign, as illustrated in the project analysis in the document:

CONSIDERING THAT a request for renovation work on a two-family dwelling has been submitted for the property located at 615-619, rue Jacques-Cartier;
CONSIDERING THAT the project aims to regularize the repair work on the floor and posts of the front gallery, repair work on the rear vestibule by modifying its dimensions, work on its roof, fenestration, rear door, as well as the installation of a second shed in the backyard;
CONSIDERING THAT the project also aims to replace three windows without modifying their dimensions, replace four windows with larger windows, add eight new windows, and replace the exterior siding currently made of stucco and vinyl siding with new wood and white fiber cement siding;
CONSIDERING THAT the building is located in the Jacques-Cartier heritage site, that the proposed work respects the majority of the objectives and evaluation criteria of the Règlement constituant le site du patrimoine Jacques-Cartier, and that they are subject to Council approval under this regulation;
CONSEQUENTLY, this Committee recommends that the Council approve, pursuant to the Règlement constituant le site du patrimoine Jacques-Cartier number 914-96, a project at 615-619, rue Jacques-Cartier, to regularize work carried out without a permit and to carry out a building renovation project, as illustrated in the project analysis in the documents:
