Approval of service agreements to facilitate the development and maintenance of community gardens in the city.

The City is formalizing agreements for the management of two community gardens: Val d'Oise and Entre deux fleurs.

Council approved new management agreements for two community gardens. The Regroupement des cuisines collectives de Gatineau will manage the Val d'Oise garden, and Entre deux Roues will continue managing the Entre deux fleurs garden. The City also approved small financial support payments for these and the Mont-Bleu community garden.

The city is renewing its support for urban agriculture, including $79,200 in annual funding for community and collective gardens. The resolution also renews management protocols for several organizations, including the Apicentris beekeeping collective and various community garden associations, and reallocates residual funds from the 2022-2024 action plan.
