CONSIDERING THAT the ministère des Transports et de la Mobilité durable must carry out road resurfacing work on the East and West Autoroute Guy-Lafleur, between rue Saint-Louis and boulevard de La Vérendrye (phase 1) as well as between montée Mineault and chemin Findlay (phase 2);

CONSIDERING THAT the work should be carried out between July 23 and August 9, 2024 (phase 1) as well as between September 12 and 30, 2024 (phase 2);

CONSIDERING THAT the work will be spread over two phases of three consecutive weeks;

CONSIDERING THAT there will be a closure of one direction according to the phases with a detour route;

CONSIDERING THAT during the road resurfacing work, traffic on this section would be greatly affected if it were carried out during the day;

CONSIDERING THAT the Ministry wishes to carry out the work at night (from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Monday to Friday) and on weekends (Friday 7 p.m. to Monday 5 a.m.), all to minimize impacts on traffic;

CONSIDERING THAT Article 7 of Bylaw number 44-2003 concerning noise on the territory of the Ville de Gatineau stipulates that work carried out outside permitted hours, i.e., Monday to Saturday between 7 a.m. and 9 p.m., must be authorized by the executive committee if a building used for accommodation is located less than 150 m from the work;

CONSIDERING THAT the work will be carried out outside the periods permitted by Bylaw number 44-2003;

CONSIDERING THAT a limited number of residences will be potentially affected:
