CONSIDERING THAT Habitations de l'Outaouais métropolitain is the owner of lots 2 181 359 and 2 181 360 of the Quebec Cadastre, Hull land registration division, located at 109-111 and 115-121, rue de Carillon;

CONSIDERING THAT Habitations de l'Outaouais métropolitain has approached the City of Gatineau to acquire a portion of lot 5 428 972 of the Quebec Cadastre, having an area of 965.5 m². The objective of this acquisition is to consolidate the land with its two adjacent properties, located at 109-111 and 115-121, rue de Carillon, to form a real estate complex;

CONSIDERING THAT the municipal council, by its resolution number CM-2024-727 of September 24, 2024, adopted an architectural integration and implementation plan (PIIA) for the construction of a 10-story multi-family housing project, including approximately 150 units, for the properties located at 109 to 121, rue de Carillon;

CONSIDERING THAT the approval of the PIIA is conditional upon the municipal council's approval of the acquisition, by the organization Habitations de l'Outaouais métropolitain, of the aforementioned portion of land;

CONSIDERING THAT discussions with the organization have led to a mutual agreement for the gratuitous transfer of a portion of lot 5 428 972 of the Quebec Cadastre, Hull land registration division, located at 125, rue Carillon, having an area of 965.5 m², under the conditions provided in the City of Gatineau's standard contract and other conditions stipulated in the promise to purchase negotiated and duly signed on December 20, 2024:

PROPOSED AND UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED THAT this committee recommends that the council:

• accept the promise to purchase and transfer by mutual agreement, to the organization Habitations de l'Outaouais métropolitain, a portion of lot 5 428 972 of the Quebec Cadastre, Hull land registration division, having an area of 965.5 m², free of charge, under the conditions provided in the City of Gatineau's standard contract and other conditions stipulated in the promise to purchase negotiated and duly signed on December 20, 2024; • mandate the City Clerk's Office to supervise the transaction and coordinate all steps required to follow up on this matter; • authorize the treasurer to perform the accounting entries required to follow up on this matter; • authorize the Real Estate Department to extend any deadline for signing the deed of sale, as provided in the promise to purchase, if required, and to properly manage the transaction while ensuring compliance with the terms and conditions of the deed to be executed; • remove the public character of the portion of lot 5 428 972 subject to this sale, if required.

The mayor or, in her absence, the acting mayor and the city clerk or, in her absence, the deputy city clerk or assistant city clerk are authorized to sign the documents for the purposes of this matter.

This recommendation of the executive committee comes into effect on the day of its approval by resolution of the municipal council.
